Renting a Duffy Electric Boat is the best way to enjoy a fun filled morning, afternoon or evening cruising the Gold Coast waterways with your family and friends. When you glide across the water in a Duffy Electric Boat, you’ll be treated to a totally different boating experience. Silky smooth and whisper quiet, it’s the classy alternative to polluting, loud and offensive outboards. Your family, friends and even your senses will thank you!
It’s not just a boat, it’s a lifestyle. Cruising in a safe, green, clean and quiet Duffy Electric Boat is like having your own limo on the water. Representing “waterfront” living at its finest, it’s the perfect way to personally unwind or to entertain! Whether you want a romantic cruise with that special someone or the perfect party location for your next event, Duffy Down Under has the boat for you! All of our new 18-foot Duffy boats can accommodate up to 10 adults. Each boat has a full canopy top, full window enclosures and a great sounding CD player with iPhone hookup. Duffy Electric Boats are extremely easy to operate and there is no need to have a boat license to drive one.

What you need to know
- Hire out an Electric Boat for 1-5 hours which seats up to 10 people (including drivers seat)
- Be your own Captain, and have the luxury of your own private vessel or have a skipper take you out to the amazing sights of the Gold Coast
- Explore Macintosh Island, paradise waters, luxurious waterfront homes and downtown Surfers
- Get up close with eagles, peacocks, pelicans, dolphins and more
- Safety briefing before hitting the water
- No license or experience required!

- Step aboard on one of the beautiful Electric Boats, whilst friendly skippers show you the surrounding sights and waterways
- Operates 7 days a week with departure times for Self Drive - 7am to 5pm and Skippered - 7am to 9pm
- Departure times are subject to availability, please specify your preferred time in booking notes at checkout and call the operator (operator details will be on your voucher) to secure a time after the bookings is made
- Hours subject to change with season and weather
- Located at Mariner's Cove Marina, 60-70 Sea World Drive, Shop 4, Main Beach QLD
- 4kms north of Surfers Paradise, conveniently located next to Marina Mirage Shopping precinct, Palazzo Versace Hotel, Sheraton Mirage Hotel and Sea World is metres downs the street
- Please specify your preferred departure time in booking notes at checkout as times are subject to availability
- Each Boat Seats up to 10 people comfortably

- PLEASE ARRIVE 20min prior to your departure time for check in and Safety Briefing for self-drive
- For Self Drive Boats, you must be able to read and understand English, signed contract required
- Must be able to understand navigation as instructed with Map provided
- We reserve the right to provide a Skipper at an additional cost (minimal) if conditions do not suit Self Drive (if we deem it necessary) as a matter of safety
- If in doubt of your ability to Captain a Boat, please consider booking a vessel with a Skipper at small additional charge. The Skipper will still let you drive, but will be on hand to teach you how to safely navigate the waterways
- All Self Drive boats must be back before Sunset. Skipper is required for Sunset Cruises, please book accordingly
- All weather boating
- We do not cancel due to rain, unless we deem it unsafe. Please dress appropriately.
- Safety will always come first! Should we deem it necessary due to inclement weather we will be happy to re-schedule the tour to a date and time suitable to you the customer (subject to availability) or a skipper can be provided at an additional charge (minimal).
- All vessels are equipped for all weather boating, we are not obligated to refund if conditions are not to your liking.
- No fishing or beaching of our vessels
- No swimming on Snug Classic -Swim Ladder only onboard our Limo on the Water vessel, swimming is at your own risk
- Children are most welcome and must be accompanied by an adult
- You are more than welcome to bring your own food and beverages onboard
- You are more than welcome to bring your beloved pet if you wish

- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the tour

This was such an amazing experience
This was such an amazing experience. Our family of 4 boarded the boat and thanks to the host and his excellent guidance, we were able to follow the map with ease and confidence and enjoy the ride. We would highly recommend this experience and we will definitely do this again.
